Everyone grieves in his or her own unique way. When someone you love dies, you may feel angry, isolated, sad, guilty and lonely. This grief talking circle is comprised of men and women with mixed types of loss. Specifically suited for students who have experienced the death of a grandparent, parent, spouse/partner or close friend. In the same way, we welcome student caregivers experiencing anticipatory grief.

Mindfulness meditation is about being aware in the present moment. We spend a lot of time focusing on what went wrong in the past, or worrying about the future, and this distracts us from what we want to do in the moment. It also creates a lot of stress!
Take some time out for yourself and participate in one or more of the Mindfulness Meditation sessions. We will engage in a variety of mindfulness practices over the 4 sessions.
Registration required. No experience necessary.
Talk with other students about the stress you are feeling and learn coping strategies. Drop in anytime, no commitment necessary.
Dates: TBA in Fall Semester.Health & Wellness in partnership with Accessibility Services will be running an 8 week support group for students with disordered eating. This is an opportunity to attend a group to help connect with others, have an opportunity to express and identify feelings and to explore some of the underlying issues. This is not a treatment or intervention group but rather an opportunity to meet others and share coping strategies that do not include food.
